Staff Language / Abbreviation back to top
EXStaff Use - It refers to a stepchart in which the stepchart patterns, besides following the drumbeats, do not follow the music patterns rhythmically or lyrically. In most cases, this term is used when simfile authors want to create more difficult stepcharts for songs that do not contribute the corresponding stepchart difficulties rhythmically or lyrically. The variable "N" in the term refers to the desired difficulty of the indicating stepchart. For example, if the desired difficulty of the abstract stepchart is 8, it would be called the Abstract 8-footer.
Staff Use - This rule refers to the behavior of continuously using the same type of font to the same artist featured in the series:
- With the exception of technical difficulty or an existing custom font has been used, if an artist has been using the same official font through his or her entire career, then this official font must be used continuously as the font for the simfile banner(s) in DWI Extreme Series.
- If an artist has been using different official fonts through his or her entire career, then 1) one of these official fonts must be continuously used as the font for the simfile banner(s) in DWI Extreme Series, or 2) a custom font must be continuously used as the font for the simfile banner(s) in DWI Extreme Series.
